Here are some screen shots from our initial filming with our new protagonist. In this scene we cover the toilet with photographs we took to act as a damaging scene to the protagonist.
This setting was chosen as we needed an inside school area that was hidden from adults showing the desperation and isolation of the protagonist. We took the photographs in one of our lessons, and edited it so it could have been taken in a bedroom. We then scribbled insults on it, for example "whore" and "slut" to show the bullying that was happening to our main character. These where written in red to act more striking, as the colour red is associated with danger.
We filmed these shots very linear, but plan to add in jump cuts and edit these shots in a non-linear sequence to represent the breakdown that is starting in the girl. This will also be sped up for emphasis.
After doing this filming, we made sure we disposed of these images appropriately, so that no one was alarmed if they found one, and so to protect our protagonist.
